Lauren has been my best friend since the 6th grade. I have always admired her strength and beauty and she has become such a muse to me over the years so we had an absolute blast updating her portraits!

In the summer of 2015, Lauren published her fist novel, A Northern Gentleman, and we thought it would be fitting to update her photos as she is close to finishing her forthcoming story.

I usually prefer to take photos in the early evening when the sun isn’t too bright but we made the best of this very sunny morning by Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis. If you are a portrait photographer, I highly recommend this area for taking photos!
